Privacy Policy

The Hive Mind LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates thehivemind.live and its associated tools. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

1. Data We Collect

Standalone tools (LTC Generator, Tap Tempo, MIDI Click Track Generator, Input List Creator): We collect no personal data. These tools run entirely in your browser. No files are uploaded, no inputs are stored, and no cookies are set.

Stageplot Creator (app.thehivemind.live): If you create an account, we collect an email address and password hash for authentication. Stage plot data you save is stored on our servers so you can access it later. We do not sell or share this data.

2. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. All analytics data is aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors.

3. Cookies

Our main website (thehivemind.live) uses no cookies. We use localStorage to remember your dark/light theme preference. This data never leaves your browser.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts — We load the JetBrains Mono font from Google Fonts. Google may log your IP address per their privacy policy.
• Google Maps — Our studio page embeds a Google Maps iframe. Google's privacy policy applies to map interactions.
• jsDelivr CDN — We load open-source libraries (Three.js, JSZip) from jsDelivr. Their privacy policy applies.

5. Data Storage and Security

All standalone tool processing happens client-side. Generated files (WAV, MIDI, PDF, PNG) are created in your browser and downloaded directly — nothing passes through our servers. For Stageplot accounts, data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored securely.

6. Children's Privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

If you have a Stageplot account, you may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at the address on our contact page. Since our standalone tools collect no data, there is nothing to delete.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
